Make the Scene is a hands-on filmmaking experience created by Visual Sound Productions in collaboration with the Easthampton Film Festival, giving local filmmakers, creatives, and curious collaborators a chance to step onto a working set and experiment. Consider this the ultimate creatives' playground.

We’ll provide the script, the actors, the equipment, and shooting environments. You take the director’s chair and put your own spin on the scene. Get behind the camera. Experiment with lighting. Jump into another production role. Or simply explore the setups, meet other local creatives, and see where the night takes you.

Two shooting locations will operate throughout the evening, each featuring a prepared scene, complete with actors. The real fun is seeing how differently each creative approaches it.
